We have added links to the "Songs" and "Works" page, so you can get more information about the artists or works. They mostly lead to Wikipedia for the following reasons.

1. With Wikipedia you at least have a decent chance of getting balanced information. If you want more, there's usually links at the end of the article.
2. By using Wikipedia we do not have to constantly check for stale links.
3. Some artists may not have a Web site, but often have a Wikipedia entry.
4. Some Web sites may not want us linking to them. This way we do not have to ask permission from over a hundred sites.
5. We do not receive money for product placements. What's in the book is there for the story. If that changes, we would disclose it, of course. We also do not agree on the best format for downloads, and hence the best download site. Rather than pick favorites for no reason whatsoever, we'd rather link to a neutral site for now.

There are some exceptions. If we could not find a Wikipedia entry, we link to some alternate site. If an artist is mentioned multiple times in quick succession, we only link from the first entry.
